Background

After many years of providing support to people in both government and community settings Mandy formalised her qualifications and completed a Bachelor of Social Science (Community Work) in 2003 and a Masters of Counselling at Queensland University of Technology in 2011.

In her private practice she currently offers counselling services to adolescents, adults, couples and families from a variety of backgrounds and with a diverse range of issues.

In addition to her private practice Mandy is a sessional lecturer in Counselling at the University of the Sunshine Coast and a mental health trainer for St Vincent De Paul Society Queensland.

Mandy is a clinical member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia.

Mandy is a strengths based counsellor who works on creating a supportive environment that enables the client to control and direct the process of change.
